Man poisons,strangles pregnant wife,daughters,gets beaten to death

Neighbours were alarmed when Ahima Bibi and shouted for help when her husband was strangulating them in the early hours today.

When the villagers broke open the door of the mud house,they found Ahima and her daughters dead and Samad sitting on the floor dazed,the police said.

They held Samad to the ground and beat him black and blue. Samad succumbed to his injuries at Bidhannagar Hospital in Durgapur.

The police suspects family dispute to be the motive behind the killing.
