A local court on Thursday sentenced two persons to life imprisonment in connection with firing at JD(U) MLA Anant Singh and his father Parmanand Singh and killing their servant at a village in the district. Additional District and Sessions Judge Raghvendra Singh sent two brothers - Vivekanand Singh and Arvind Singh to life in jail for attacking the ruling party MLA and his father on July 1,2004 at Nadwan under Barh police station. Anant Singh and his father had escaped unhurt while their servant Umesh Ram was killed when the two opened fire following a property dispute.
