The Anti-Narcotics Squad of Mizoram's Excise & Narcotics Department on Saturday seized heroin and arrested a woman in Aizawl. The squad around 3 pm caught 11.5 grams of heroin M Thangi, a resident of the Indo-Myanmar border town of Zokhawthar, in the state capital's ITI Veng neighbourhood. The drugs were stacked in 28 penicillin containers and had been purchased by her from across the border.
