Girl had an affair with her cousin

An ex-armyman was today arrested for allegedly killing his daughter for having an affair with her cousin in the Kaimur district of Bihar,police said here.

Shalendra Singh was arrested from his house at Bhabhua road for killing his daughter Chandni Kumar (18) on August three last for having illicit relations with her cousin,deputy superintendent of police Pankaj Singh said.

The accused has confessed of killing Chandni by submerging her face in a bucket of water till she breathed her last and threw her body at a nearby railway crossing,Singh said.
