Doctor accused of abducting girl

A criminal case was registered against a doctor of a dental college in Modinagar here today for allegedly abducting one of his patients,police said.

A 15-year-old girl,who was undergoing treatment at the hospital for the past six months,reportedly got missing after she visited the doctor on January 7,they said.

The case was registered against Mayank Sharma on the complaint of the girls family,police said,adding,the doctor is absconding and the probe is on.

Lok Janshakti Party (Ram Vilas) announced its first list of 14 candidates for the Bihar assembly polls, with its state unit chief Raju Tiwary and leader Hulas Pandey among the nominees. As per the seat-sharing arrangement, LJP (RV) will contest 29 seats, while BJP and JD(U) will contest 101 seats each. The remaining 15 candidates will be announced soon.
