Case against South Korean MD for ‘manhandling’ Chennai employee

The employee who was allegedly manhandled, Bhoopalan, was later taken to hospital.

Sriperumbudur police on Saturday registered a case against South Korean national Choyce Yoon Isk, the MD of NVH India Auto Parts Pvt Ltd, for allegedly manhandling an employee.

The company is an automobile ancillary firm which supplies car interiors to Hyundai. In a video uploaded on YouTube, which has gone viral, the accused is purportedly seen dragging away an employee who was part of an ongoing protest. Nearly 100 employees were also taken into custody. The employee who was allegedly manhandled, Bhoopalan, was later taken to hospital.
