Chidambaram taken to AIIMS, discharged

Chidambaram was taken to RML Hospital earlier in the day, and shifted to AIIMS in the evening.

Former finance minister and senior Congress leader P Chidambaram, who is currently in the custody of the Enforcement Directorate in the INX Media case, was taken to AIIMS on Monday evening after he complained of stomach ache and related issues. He was discharged after treatment.

According to sources, he was treated for gastrointestinal-related problems and discharged after doctors conducted a series of tests.

Chidambaram was taken to RML Hospital earlier in the day, and shifted to AIIMS in the evening. “He reached the hospital around 5.40 pm and was examined by the doctors after he complained of pain in the stomach. Around 7 pm, he was discharged from the hospital,” said a senior doctor. ens
