Face yoga is a natural method aimed at toning and relaxing facial muscles without the use of any tools. It involves various exercises designed to target different areas of the face, promoting circulation, reducing tension and ultimately enhancing relaxation.

Here are some easy poses that any beginner can take up:
Fish Pose
FISH FACE POSE: The fish face is a generic and the most effective face yoga pose that could be done anywhere, anytime. Helps in burning cheek fat and giving a more sculpted look.
Start by pursing your lips or pout.
Now suck the cheeks from the inside of your mouth as strongly or hardly as possible.
Hold this pose to the count of 30 and repeat three times.
After some practice, try to hold this pose to the count of 60.
Repeat to the count of 60 three times this will strengthen the facial muscles.
Smiling Fish Face
SMILING FISH POSE: This exercise helps get rid of deep nasolabial lines for face-lifting and also erases crow’s feet.
First hold the fish face for 30 to 60 seconds.
Try to smile while holding the fish face.
Lift the cheek or zygomatic facial muscle, that helps you lift your upper lip.
There should be no lines created while lifting your cheek muscles. Holding this face provides intense resistance and strengthens your nasolabial fold — creases that extend from the nose to the corners of your mouth — and irons any droopiness.
Kissing Fish Face
KISSING FISH FACE: The kissing fish face is for fuller cheeks and fine line removal from the upper lip and chin region.
Fill your mouth with air and balloon up your cheeks.
Now place one palm firmly against the outer lining of your lips.
While you have air filled inside your mouth, press your lips with your hands and lift.
THE POSER FACE: This is for balancing facial features and the overall shoulder alignment.

You can do this sitting or standing, with your spine erect.
Join your hands overhead like a namaste.
Now look to the left side, take your tongue out and try to touch the tip of your nose.
This will stretch and strengthen the other side of your neck and shoulder while strengthening your alignment and balancing your facial features.
Repeat this exercise for 30 seconds each side, three reps on each side.
The Lioness Face
THE LIONESS FACE: One of the iconic facial yoga exercises, the lioness face helps in overall facial brightening, skin texture enhancement and stress or tension release from the smallest of the facial muscles. It incorporates facial stress relief and breath coordination at the same time.
Take a deep breath. Ensure that you constrict every facial muscle for five seconds.
Now release your breath forcefully, creating the sound ‘HA’ when you exhale.
While breathing out, open your mouth and eyes wide and stretch your tongue out.
