Prakash Jha has recently completed the shoot of Aarakshan that is based on the policy of reservation for backward caste students.
Starring Amitabh Bachchan,Saif Ali Khan,Manoj Bajpayee,Deepika Padukone and Prateik,the film has been shot entirely in Bhopal.
It is Jhas first big commercial film to be wrapped up in record time. The shoot was completed in a single schedule of 52 days. We finished it three days ahead of the schedule, smiles Jha who says it was the commercialisation of education apart from the reservation issue that served as the take-off point for the film.
Aarakshan is slated to release on August 12 this year. It has music by Shankar-Ehsaan-Loy there are four songs with lyrics written by Prasoon Joshi. Unlike Raajneeti,in which only parts of the hit songs were showcased,Aarakshan will feature the entire tracks.
