Prateik Babbar, who debuted with Jaane Tu Ya Jaane Na, and did films like Dhobi Ghat and Aarakshan, has written a powerful note on drug addiction. Prateik is veteran actors Smita Patel and Raj Babbar's son who fought the demons of substance abuse in a rehab.
The video gives a full three minutes dekko of Prateik Babbar's life, but puts forth a point: "Don't talk to Prateik about the 'D' word. Avoid topics like 'rehab', 'recovery' and overdose.' He gets nervous." The message is to keep judgement and sensationalism at bay.
