This year, as many as 25,45,815 students appeared for the High School exams this year and 25,98,560 lakh students took the UP board intermediate examination from 8,140 exam centres across the state. UPMSP held the exams for 51,44,375 students in just 13 days this year and completed the evaluation in 15 days, the board said while announcing the UPMSP result in a press conference.
In the UP Board High School 2025 results, Yash Pratap Singh secured the first rank with an impressive 97.83 per cent. The second position was shared by Anshi and Abhishek Kumar Yadav, both scoring 97.67 per cent. The third rank was jointly held by Ritu Garg, Arpit Verma, and Simran Gupta, each scoring 97.50 per cent.
In the UPMSP Class 12 intermediate results, Mahak Jaiswal secured the top position with 97.20 per cent marks. The second rank was shared by Sakshi, Adarsh Yadav, Shivani Singh, and Anushika Singh, each scoring 96.80 per cent. Mohini stood third with a score of 96.40 per cent.

After logging in or creating an account, they need to enter their Aadhaar number and mobile number, following which an OTP will be sent to the registered mobile. Once logged in, navigate to the UP Board 2025 results section on the homepage and select UP Board. Then, enter the roll number and exam year, and submit the details. The UP Board high school and intermediate results will be displayed on the screen, which students can download and save in their DigiLocker account for future reference.
UPMSP held the exams for 54 lakh students in just 17 days this year and completed the evaluation in 15 days, the board said.
Last year, the overall pass percentage for UP Board Class 10 High School was 89.55%. Over the years, the UP board Class 10 results have shown fluctuations, with a pandemic-driven peak of 99.53% in 2021. In comparison, the pass percentages stood at 89.78% in 2023, 88.18% in 2022, 83.31% in 2020, and 80.07% in 2019.

Results will be announced today
After the results are announced, students unsatisfied with their marks will be able to apply for rechecking or revaluation. The application window usually opens within a week of the result date. While students can view their digital marksheets online, the original hard copies will be distributed by their respective schools. The UP Board will dispatch the documents within two weeks after the result declaration. Students are advised to collect their marksheets, migration certificates, and character certificates directly from their schools.
To maintain transparency, the UP Board issued strict checking protocols. Evaluators were required to mark papers between 10 am to 5 pm. Security arrangements were reinforced at all evaluation centres, and digital monitoring was used to prevent discrepancies. The UPMSP also issued unique barcoded answer sheets to help streamline result processing.
Girls have continued their academic dominance in UP Board exams. In 2024, girls scored 93% pass percentage in Class 10 compared to 86% among boys. In Class 12, the gap was similarly wide — 88.42% for girls versus 77.78% for boys. The trend reflects a consistent pattern over the last several years.
Last year, the UP Board announced the Class 10 and 12 results on April 20. The results were released during a press conference at the Prayagraj headquarters and later made available on upresults.nic.in and upmsp.edu.in. The toppers list, subject-wise stats, and supplementary exam details were also published alongside.
In the 2024 academic year, a record-breaking 55 lakh students had registered for the UP Board exams, with 29.8 lakh in Class 10 and 24.5 lakh in Class 12. Out of these, 22.9 lakh students passed Class 10 and over 20.2 lakh passed Class 12.
On February 24, the board postponed exams in Prayagraj due to the Kumbh Mela, which drew lakhs of devotees to the city. The decision was made to ensure students and authorities could avoid logistical challenges on account of the heavy footfall during the religious event. Revised dates were issued later for affected students.
The UP Board Class 12 practical exams were conducted in two distinct phases. The first phase ran from February 1 to 8 and covered regions like Meerut, Bareilly, Agra, and Kanpur. The second phase, from February 9 to 16, covered districts such as Lucknow, Varanasi, and Ayodhya. Students had to carry their admit cards and follow strict guidelines.
This year, the UPMSP conducted the Class 10 and 12 board examinations from February 24 to March 12. The Class 10 exams commenced with Hindi and Health Care, while Class 12 students began with Hindi and Military Science. Exams were held in two shifts -- morning (8:30 am to 11:45 am) and afternoon (2 pm to 5:15 pm).
The evaluation of UP Board 2025 Class 10 and 12 answer sheets started on March 19. This year, the board set up 261 evaluation centres across the state and deployed around 1.34 lakh teachers for the task.
