UP Board 10th, 12th Result 2025 Highlights: Result direct link, toppers’ list

This year, as many as 25,45,815 students appeared for the High School exams this year and 25,98,560 lakh students took the UP board intermediate examination from 8,140 exam centres across the state. UPMSP held the exams for 51,44,375 students in just 13 days this year and completed the evaluation in 15 days, the board said while announcing the UPMSP result in a press conference.

In the UPMSP Class 12 intermediate results, Mahak Jaiswal secured the top position with 97.20 per cent marks. The second rank was shared by Sakshi, Adarsh Yadav, Shivani Singh, and Anushika Singh, each scoring 96.80 per cent. Mohini stood third with a score of 96.40 per cent.

In the UP Board 2025 exams, Mahak Jaiswal secured the top position in the Class 12 intermediate exam with 97.20% marks, while Yash Pratap Singh topped the Class 10 high school exam with 97.83% marks.

To check the UP Board 2025 results via DigiLocker, students can either download the DigiLocker app or visit results.digilocker.gov.in. After logging in or creating an account, they need to enter their Aadhaar number and mobile number, following which an OTP will be sent to the registered mobile. Once logged in, navigate to the UP Board 2025 results section on the homepage and select UP Board. Then, enter the roll number and exam year, and submit the details. The UP Board high school and intermediate results will be displayed on the screen, which students can download and save in their DigiLocker account for future reference.

Last year, the overall pass percentage for UP Board Class 10 High School was 89.55%. Over the years, the UP board Class 10 results have shown fluctuations, with a pandemic-driven peak of 99.53% in 2021. In comparison, the pass percentages stood at 89.78% in 2023, 88.18% in 2022, 83.31% in 2020, and 80.07% in 2019.

Girls have consistently outperformed boys in recent years. In 2024, girls surpassed boys by 7.35%. The trend continues from previous years: in 2023, girls achieved 93.34%, and in 2022, they had a pass percentage of 91.69% compared to boys' 85.25%. Similar patterns were observed in 2020, 2019, and 2018, where girls outperformed boys in pass percentages.

Given the high volume of students accessing results on the UP board Class 10 and Class 12 result date, these websites may experience heavy traffic once the UP Board announces the result. In such cases, students can register on education.indianexpress.com to receive their results via email or SMS once they are released.

In 2024, girls have performed better than boys by 7.35 per cent

In 2023, girls surpassed boys with a remarkable pass percentage of 93.34%.

In 2022, while boys achieved a passing percentage of 85.25%, girls exceeded the 90% mark with 91.69% of them passing the matric exam.

In 2021, both boys and girls achieved impressive pass percentages of 99.52% and 99.55% respectively.

In 2020, out of 12,81,842 registered girls, 11,18,914 passed, resulting in a pass percentage of 87.29%. Similarly, out of 14,90,814 registered boys, 11,90,888 passed.

In 2019, female candidates saw a notable increase of 5.17% in pass percentage, achieving 83.98%, while male candidates recorded a pass percentage of 76.66%.

In 2018, girls outperformed boys with a pass percentage of 78.81%, whereas boys achieved a pass percentage of 72.27%.

Last year, a total of 29,82,055 students had appeared for the UP Board class 10 exam, of which 22,93,467 students passed. Of the 24,52,830 students appearing in UP Board class 12 exams last year, 20,26,067 qualified. The pass percentage was 89.55 per cent for Class 10 and 82.60 per cent for Class 12.

Despite the conclusion of UP board exams alomost a month ago, the UP board has not yet announced any fixed the date or time to announce the UP Board Class 10th and 12th results 2025.
