The board has clarified that the circulating information is entirely false and misleading. Over the past five years, female students have consistently outshined their male counterparts in the UP Board Class 10 examinations, showing a steady upward trend in performance year after year.
In the 2024 Class 10 results, girls achieved an impressive pass percentage of 93.40%, while boys stood at 86.05%, marking a 7.35% lead for girls.
In 2023, girls once again led with a pass percentage of 93.34%, continuing their dominance.
In 2022, boys secured 85.25%, whereas girls crossed the 90% mark with 91.69%.

In 2020, 87.29% of the 12,81,842 registered girls passed the exam (11,18,914), while 11,90,888 of the 14,90,814 registered boys qualified.
In 2019, female candidates saw a significant 5.17% increase in pass percentage, reaching 83.98%, compared to 76.66% for male candidates.
In 2018, girls recorded a pass percentage of 78.81%, outperforming boys who scored 72.27%.

After UPMSP announces Class 10 and 12 annual exam results, it will also release the date sheet for the Compartment/Improvement exams. These exams are held in July. Last year, the UP Board compartment exam results were announced in August.
A total of 18,882 students (14,619 boys and 4,263 girls) appeared for their Class 10 exams. The overall pass percentage of girls for the UP Board Inter exam is 88.42 per cent and boys 77.78 per cent. The success rate of females is higher as compared to their counterparts with a difference of 10.64 per cent. The overall pass percentage for Class 10 is 89.78 per cent, boys secured a pass percentage of 86 per cent, while girls secured a pass percentage of 93 per cent.
