Maharashtra’s Higher and Technical Education Department has introduced CET – ATAL (Assessment, Tests and Learning) to help candidates seeking admission to various professional courses in the state. The portal will provide mock tests and psychometric tests to students to help them opt for the right career and prepare for success in the entrance tests.

There is no age bar for appearing or registering for the tests. Anyone who intends for self-improvement ambitions is eligible to apply. As mentioned on the official website, the selection process includes a committee that can either accept or reject the application of the student.

Candidates who are interested in appearing for the mock test or psychometric tests can register at mocktest.mahacet.org. The official website also mentions that any amount a student pays towards buying CET’s mock tests will be non-refundable once the transaction is done.

In the case of psychometric tests, a candidate will have approximately 90 minutes. The test will include topics from aptitude, personality and interest to understand the stream of the student.

The tests provided on the portal will be based on the CET syllabus for 2025. No study material will be provided by the CET Cell for the mock test. These tests are meant to evaluate the answers of the candidates to the questions to determine his/her interest in pursuing a particular course/courses, read the portal.
