CLAT 2024 Result Highlights: Grievances portal, counselling details today

LSAT 2024 India exam is scheduled to be conducted on January 20 and 21, 2024. As of now, the date for release of score cards has not been declared. The application fee for one attempt (January or May) is Rs 3,999, and the candidates who wish to apply for both the attempts will have to pay Rs 7,998.

One male student from Rajasthan has scored 100 percentile, 6 students scored 99.99 percentile, 5 students scored 99.98 percentile and 4 students scored 99.97 percentile. No PG student has scored 100 percentile.

To complete their registration for the admissions counselling process, candidates must pay the counselling registration fee by 10 pm on December 20, 2023.

Candidates will receive invitations to the admissions counselling process via email at their registered email address and SMS at their registered phone number.

Grievances against the final answer key can only be raised by candidates who have submitted objections as per the Consortium’s notification. The portal will open today at 12 pm.

Follow these steps to raise grievances:

Step 4: Describe your grievance (max. 1,000 characters)

The overall attendance percentage for CLAT 2024 was 96.45%. Of the candidates who appeared for CLAT 2024, 57% are females, 43% are males, and 6 candidates are transgender.

This year, the highest mark secured in CLAT 2024 UG is 108, and the highest mark secured in CLAT 2024 PG is 104.25.

The Common Law Admission Test 2024 (CLAT 2024) have been declared at the official website – consortiumofnlus.ac.in

Candidates belonging to unreserved categories have to score at least 40 percent marks to pass the exam and are eligible for admission to undergraduate and postgraduate level courses. For reserved category candidates, the cut-off is 35 per cent, according to rules.

Once released, candidates would need to key in CLAT application number/admit card number and date of birth to download the CLAT result 2024.

in the 2023 rankings, Nalsar University of Law, Hyderabad ranked third, followed by The West Bengal National University of Juridicial Sciences, Kolkata and Jamia Millia Islamia, New Delhi at the fourth and fifth ranks respectively.

After the CLAT 2024 result is declared, NLUs will soon release the counselling process for admissions to law degree programmes. Candidates can follow below steps to participate in the counselling process

Step 1: Visit consortiumofnlus.ac.in to access the organisation’s official website.
Step 2: Click “Submit” after entering your login information.
Step 3: Enter the information and finish the application.
Step 4: Make your payment and then press “Submit.”
Step 5: Save a physical copy of the confirmation page for future reference after downloading it.

CLAT 2024 result would be valid only for admission in the academic year 2024-25. For candidates who wish to apply next year, they will have to appear for CLAT 2025

After the declaration of CLAT result 2024, candidates will have to apply for admissions and counselling. The registration for admission and counselling and fee payment window will open on December 12 and continue till December 22.

Meanwhile, AIBE has released the CoP for AIBE 17. "We would like to inform you that the Certificate of Practice (COP) for AIBE-XVII is now available in the AIBE application," the official notification stated. The Bar Council of Indian also concluded the AIBE XVIII (AIBE 18) today.

Last year, the highest mark secured in CLAT 2023 UG was 116.75, while the highest mark secured in CLAT 2023 PG was 95.25. Both exams were conducted in CBT mode on December 18, 2023.

This year, a record 97.03% of registered CLAT 2024 UG candidates appeared for the exam, while 93.92% of CLAT PG aspirants appeared for the exam on Sunday, December 3. The law universities of the Consortium and other participating universities will admit the students of the UG and PG programmes for the academic year 2024-25.

The Quantitative Aptitude section was easy to moderate and had basic case lets. Questions based on the population survey were relatively lengthier. There were questions about ratio and proportion, LegalEdge's co-founder while analysing the CLAT paper 2024 said.

Candidates should retain their CLAT 2024 admit card, CLAT OMR sheet and the CLAT 2024 question booklet even after the exam is over.

While no student scored 100 percnetil in CLAT PG, two male students scored 100 percentile in the UG exam. The candidates were from Maharashtra and Uttar Pradesh. A total of 4 candidates had scored 99.99 percentile and 99.98 percentile was scored by three students

Last year, no student managed to score 100 percentile in CLAT PG exam this year. Only one student from Chhattisgarh secured 99.99 percentile followed by another students from Haryana who scored 99.98 percentile

The consortium releases the CLAT consolidated merit list and invite list soon after the result declaration. Candidates can check the marks and the rank obtained in the exam from the merit list. CLAT invite list will mention the roll number of candidates who will be invited for the counselling and seat allotment process.

After that, "the recommendations of the Subject Expert Committee, which reviewed the objections to the questions and answer keys received from the candidates, were placed before the Oversight Committee for its decision. The Oversight Committee considered those recommendations and finally recommended the following changes/modifications in the Question Booklets and Answer Keys for CLAT 2024. The Executive Council of the Consortium of National Law Universities reviewed those recommendations received from the Oversight Committee and approved the changes/modifications recommended by the Oversight Committee," the official notice stated.

The All India Law Entrance Test (AILET 2024) exam will be conducted today by the National Law University Delhi (NLU Delhi). The exam will begin from 11 am to 1 pm.

CLAT PG, the exam authority has modified the answer for one question. The notification read, "The recommendations of the Subject Expert Committee, which reviewed the objections to the questions and answer keys received from the candidates, were placed before the Oversight Committee for its decision. The Oversight Committee considered those recommendations and finally recommended the following changes/modifications in the Question Booklets and Answer Keys for CLAT 2024."

National Law School of India University, Bengaluru is the number one law college in the country, as per the National Institutional Ranking Framework (NIRF) 2023. National Law University, New Delhi, is in the second position while Nalsar University of Law, Hyderabad secured the third spot with 73.76 points.

In case of a tie or equal marks, the following procedure will be followed in order as under: Higher age and computerised draw of lots.

The release of the CLAT 2024 final answer key follows "a comprehensive review of objections received against the provisional answer key," as per the notice. The final answer key is available in pdf format on the official website.

CLAT UG, PG final answer keys are released. In CLAT UG, the exam authority has announced withdrawal of two questions -- one question in English Language section and one in Legal Reasoning section. Accordingly, the evaluation of candidates for the CLAT 2024 UG shall be out of 118 marks in place of the originally announced 120 marks.

Common Law Admission Test (CLAT) is a national level entrance exam that is held every year for admission to undergraduate (UG) and postgraduate (PG) law programmes. A total of 22 national law universities across the countries accept CLAT score.

Last year, a total of 60,895 candidates registered for the exam while 56472 candidates appeared.

Candidates from the general category will have to pay Rs 30,000 for the counselling application fee and the SC, ST, OBC candidates will have to pay Rs 20,000.

CLAT 2023 result will be released on December 10. Once the result link is active, the exam authority will publish the CLAT UG, PG counselling schedule. CLAT counselling 2023 registration for admission will begin from December 12. The last date to make fee payment is December 22.

The CLAT provisional answer key was released on December 4 and the objection window was opened on the same day. The last date to submit the objection was till December 5. The final answer key will be out on December 9
