AP SSC 10th Results 2024 Updates: Pass percentage improves, girls outperform boys

This year’s pass percentage has improved as 86.69% SSC students cleared the exam

After the Andhra Pradesh Commissioner of School Education, S Suresh Kumar announced the result in a press conference at the Grand Central Hall of Taj Vivanta (Gateway), Vijayawada, the SSC result link is available at the official BSEAP website — results.bse.ap.gov.in. 

Among the registered candidates, 3,17,960 boys were enrolled for the exam, with 3,14,610 actually appearing. Similarly, 3,05,168 girls were registered, out of which 3,02,005 appeared. The total number of students who took the exam amounted to 6,16,615. The percentage of attendance in the total regular category stood at an impressive 98.95 percent.

This year a total of 4,27,067 students secured first division, which is 69.26 per cent students, followed by 73,200 students securing second division, which made up of 11.87 per cent students and only 5.56 per cent candidates, that is a total of 34,307 passing the exam with third division.

In the March 2024 AP SSC exams, the pass percentages varied across different subjects. In the 1st Language subject, out of 614,819 candidates who appeared, 593,086 candidates passed, resulting in a pass percentage of 96.47%.

Similarly, in the 2nd Language subject, out of 613,684 candidates, 609,045 passed, achieving a high pass percentage of 99.24%. The 3rd Language subject saw 614,164 candidates appearing, with 605,078 passing at a pass percentage of 98.52%.

In Mathematics, out of 615,624 candidates, 574,567 passed, yielding a pass percentage of 93.33%. General Science had 615,746 candidates appearing, with 562,127 passing, resulting in a pass percentage of 91.29%.

The extracted mominal roll of the failed candidates of SSC Public Examinations, March 2024 will be hosted on the official website -- bse.ap.gov.in -- from May 24, states BSEAP.

This time, the earlier process of offline/ manual applications is dispensed with and an online application is developed for the purpose of re-counting and re-verification.

Girls outperformed boys, with a pass percentage of 89.17% compared to boys' 84.32%, indicating a 4.85% difference in favor of girls.

Out of the 623,128 registered students, 616,615 appeared for the exams, marking an attendance rate of 98.95%. These students, spread across 11,645 schools under various managements, achieved notable results, with 534,574 students passing, resulting in an overall pass percentage of 86.69%. 

The BSEAP Class 10 result link is now active at results.bse.ap.gov.in. Students will require their roll numbers to download the AP SSC marks memo 2024.

Analysing the AP SSC result district wise, Parvathipuram Manyam has emerged as the highest performing district with a pass percentage of 96.37 per cent. Kurnool district has the lowest passing percentage with 62.47 per cent students passing the AP SSC Class 10 exam 2024.

Of the total 6,16,615 students appearing in the BSEAP Class 10 SSC exams, as many as 5,34,574 students have passed the exams. 

Students who failed in one or more than one subject of the AP SSC 2024 have to appear for the AP SSC 2024 supplementary exams. Application will begin soon and the exams will start on May 24.

AP Residential Schools and BC Residential Schools in the state have achieved the highest pass percentage -- 98.43 per cent in the AP SSC Class 10 manabadi result announced today.

The names of the highest scorers will not be officially released, the AP Commissioner of School Education, S Suresh Kumar said while declaring the Class 10 AP SSC result.

In the AP SSC result 2024 announced today, 17 schools in the state have recorded 0 per cent pass percentage in the BSEAP result.

The BSEAP 2024 result will also be released in the government of India's DigiLocker app. The other websites are bse.gov.in, results.bse.gov.in and indianexpress.com.

BSEAP this year declared the AP SSC 10th results 2024 in record time. The early release of AP SSC Manabadi result was keeping in mind the upcoming election dates, and by following the moral code of conduct, the AP Commissioner of School Education, S Suresh Kumar said.

While announcing the AP Class 10 result 2024, the Andhra Pradesh Commissioner of School Education, S Suresh Kumar said that as many as 2803 schools have 100% pass percentage in BSEAP results 2024.

Students unsatisfied with the BSEAP Manabadi Class 10 results can apply for verification of results. The result verification window will open soon. The marks obtained after AP SSC result 2024 verification will be final.

The AP SSC result marks memo will contain subject-wise grades, roll numbers and other BSEAP 2024 result details specific to the candidates.

Girl students fare better in Class 10 SSC BSEAP result 2024. While the pass percentage among the male students is 84.32 per cent, it is 89.17 per cent in female students. The pass percentage is 4.85 per cent points higher for girl students.

This year, the pass percentage is at 86.69% pass.

The press conference to declare the Manabadi 10th Results 2024 has started now. The Commissioner of School Education, S Suresh Kumar will declare the AP SSC result 2024 and passing percentage.

Students can access the AP SSC Class 10 marksheet on the official website - bse.ap.gov.in, starting today. However, the hard copies of the mark memo with the official seal and other details can be collected from the respective schools later. Students will receive their original Manabadi Class 10 result 2024 marks memo and pass certificate a few days after the results are declared. 

The result links although is present in the official website - results.bse.ap.gov.in, are not active yet. The board has made two links - one for students and the other for schools.

However, the students must confirm their marks once they collect the AP SSC marks memo from their respective schools.

Students will be awarded grades in the AP SSC Class 10 result. These are the corresponding marks:

91-100 marks: A1 grade

81-90 marks: A2 grade

71-80 marks: B1 grade

61-70 marks: B2 grade

51-60 marks: C1 grade

41-50 marks: C2 grade

35-40 marks: D grade

After the AP SSC results are announced at 11 am in the press conference, students will be able to check and download the Class 10 SSC marks memo from the official result link - results.bse.ap.gov.in. The students will then have to collect the original mark sheet from their respective schools. Based on the scores obtained by the students, they will be able to choose a preferred course from arts, science and commerce in Class 11.

Last year, the AP government launched the “Jagananna Animuthyalu (state brilliance awards)”, to promote the meritorious students of state-run schools and junior colleges. This scheme also included cash rewards. The top three students last year acing the SSC examinations in each constituency were honoured with a medal and a merit certificate. For SSC toppers, the cash award were Rs 15,000, Rs 10,000 and Rs 5,000. The district SSC toppers received a cash award of Rs 50,000, Rs 30,000 and Rs 15,000 respectively. At the state-level, SSC toppers received Rs 1 lakh, Rs 75,000 and Rs 50,000 respectively.

The government will continue this scheme for AP SSC 2024 toppers or not, will be announced today.

According to data released last year, as many as 6,52,000 students appeared for the Andhra Pradesh board SSC exams. Of them, 6,09,881 students qualified recording an overall pass percentage of 72.26 per cent. Last year, the exam was conducted on April 3 to April 18.

Around 6.54 lakh students await Class 10 AP SSC result 2024. The AP SSC board examinations were held in 3,473 exam centres and as many as 30,234 examination rooms were made available to accommodate the students registered for the board exams this year.

The board this year has provided audio question papers to the visually impaired students. The principal secretary of the School Education department Praveen Prakash said that the southern state is the first in the country to do so on a pilot basis. The official said 12 specially-abled students availed the facility this year.

AP SSC Students of English medium had performed better than Telugu medium, last year. A total of 4,32,641 students appeared in exam out of which 3,49,673 passed taking the pass percentage of 80.82%. While in Telugu medium, 1,68,107 students appeared out of which 84,047 students passed. The passing percentage of Telugu medium was 50 %

A total of 3,31,646 students got first division, 73,559 got second division and 31,991 students secured third division in AP SSC Results 2023.
