Traffic jams were reported at different junctions in the city, causing vehicles to pile up on many roads on Saturday.
Police said there was a technical problem in the signals at some traffic junctions.

Also, there was a VVIP movement as Union Home Minister Amit Shah is on a visit to Pune.

“Traffic signals at some junctions in the city faced technical issues in the afternoon,” said Deputy Commissioner of Police (traffic) Vijay Kumar Magar.

He also said that the process of making changes in the Advanced Traffic Monitoring System (ATMS) in some traffic signals led to a traffic slow down. ens
