Techie ends life on an Infosys parking lot

10-storey multi-level parking lot of the company on Tuesday morning.

Police have identified the bod as that of a Nikhil Shekhar Dhote (23),a native of Chandrapur and currently residing at Pimple Saudagar in Pune.

Sub-inspector of Police (Hinjewadi) P R Khatmode said Nikhil went to office on the Infosys premises on Tuesday morning. Soon after reaching office,he jumped off the terrace of the ten-floor multi-level parking lot.

“We found a note,which he had addressed to his parents,stating that his life has become too difficult. His body has been handed over to his family after conducting a post mortem. Investigation is on to ascertain the reason behind the suicide,” hatmode said.

According to the police,Nikhil was working at Infosys in Hinjewadi as a software engineer since June 2011.

He was unmarried and staying at a rented apartment in Pimple Saudagar area. His uncle Subhash Dhote is a Congress MLA at Chandrapur.
