In the wake of a terror attack on foreigners in Delhi on Sunday,the Pune police have decided to step up security in areas where the population of foreign nationals is more. State ATS chief Rakesh Maria held a meeting with senior Pune officers today .

Pune Police Commissioner Meeran Borwankar said they are already providing proper security to foreigners in the city. Sources said security has been stepped up in Koregaon Park,Kondhwa,Mundhwa,Khadki and other places in the city where foreigners gather on regular basis. Joint Commissioner of Police Ashok Dhivare said people should share information with the police. He said they can inform at his number 9850831708 about suspicious activity.
