If this year Osian’s Cinefan Film Festival promises vibrant film screenings and panel discussions by the day,nights will be no less lively — with a host of music performances at Blue Frog,The Kila. Though the line-up is exciting,it doesn’t throw up any surprises. Director Q’s Gandu Circus,his live performing act,and the music team of Rockstar,including lead singer Mohit Chauhan,will perform at the venue for Cinefan Nights. Other performers include The Ska Vengers,Amit Trivedi and his band,Karsh Kale and Midival Punditz,among others. Aiming to “strengthen” the relationship between films and music,films such as Roadside Fugitive,El Gusto and Ranjana ami ar ashbo na will be screened to showcase music in cinema.
