Sanghvi Movers,a crane hiring and engineering company,reported revenues of Rs 80.43 crore for the quarter ended September 30 as compared to Rs 95.65 crore in the corresponding period a year ago, a dip of 15.91 per cent.
Net profit for the quarter stood at Rs 21.48 crore as against Rs 28.81 crore in the corresponding period of the last fiscal.
The company’s earnings before interest,tax,depreciation and amortization (EBITDA) stood at Rs 61.14 crore,whereas the EBITDA margins were at 76.02 per cent in the current quarter. Cash profit reported as Rs 42.42 crore.
On the half-yearly basis,revenues for H1 FY2010 were reported as Rs 163.02 crore,down by 6.49 per cent from Rs 174.34 crore in H1 FY2009. The company’s EBITDA stood at Rs 123.93 crore and EBITDA margins were at 76.02 per cent in the first half.
Net profit for H1 FY2010 stood at Rs 44.58 crore as against Rs 51.51 crore in H1 FY2009. Cash profit was reported as Rs 86.14 crore. Diluted EPS stood at Rs 10.30
CP Sanghvi,chairman and managing director,said,We foresee excellent opportunities in the power sector. We have revised our capex plan. An additional capex of Rs 90 crore has been approved by the board for the remaining months of this fiscal.
