Between April '09 and January '10,the Pune Division of Central Railway has earned Rs 3.82 crore after 96,060 passengers,found travelling without ticket,improper ticket,carrying unbooked luggage,were fined. Fine was also collected from unauthorised vendors,seat cornerers and touts. Last year,the fine collected during the same duration,was Rs 3.32 crore from 88,429 passengers.
