Pimpri gets its first premium business hotel

Set up by the Mind Space Hotels and Resorts,a company owned by Omprakash Goenka,Omprakash Bhandari and Ramesh Thakkar,the hotel has come up on a 1,00,000 sq ft land opposite the headquarters of the Pimpri-Chinchwad Municipal Corporation. The hotel was inaugurated by Pimpri-Chinchwad Mayor Aparna Doke on Saturday. State Water Resources and Energy Minister Ajit Pawar who was supposed to inaugurate the hotel could not make it on Saturday.

However,on Sunday,he visited the hotel. “The industrial town of Pimpri-Chinchwad which is growing much faster than any other cities in the state badly needed a business hotel for the large number of industrialists who flock to Pune from all over the country. The hotel is ideally located right on the Pune-Mumbai highway and is just a 10-minute drive from Pune. The hotel has added to the glory of the bustling town,” he said. Mayor Doke said the setting up of the five-star hotel has enhanced the prestige of Pimpri-Chinchwad.
