Devendra Ingle, father of 14-year-old Parag Ingle, who was accidentally shot during NCC training Saturday said officials were not cooperating with cops during inquiry. I asked NCC officials to show me the place where my son was shot at and I was not allowed to see it. police took statements of the students who were present with Parag at the time of the incident but they took the statement at the school instead of their homes. Hence it is possible that their statements were biased. When i asked the police to show me the statements, but I was denied access, Devendra alleged. Everybody keeps saying that Parag got out of turn and came in Ghanekar's line of fire (the teacher who allegedly fired the bullet that hit Parag). But Parag had completed firing 10 bullets and then stood up. When Gahenekar was not authorised or allowed to fire, why did he fire? he said. He was the only student from class 8 and the rest were from class 9. Why then was he a part of the group? Devendra added. Parag, was shot on his head February 1 during NCC training organised as a part of his school activities at NCC headquarters.
