Nayana Pujari case approver alleges jail authorities of assault

An approver in Nayna Pujari rape and murder case has registered a complaint before the local court, accusing jail authorities of beating him.

Rajesh Chaudhari, in his complaint made on Thursday, has also alleged that he was threatened to be injected with “AIDS contaminated blood” if he speaks about the beating incident outside.

Chaudhari has been lodged in high-security Anda-cell of Yerwada Central Prison here as an under trial prisoner for last four and half years in connection with Pujari case.

In his complaint, approver has also demanded medical examination of the “injuries” he had received during alleged beating incident of October 10.

Jail authorities are expected to submit their say in writing before the court.
