Mayur Kalate Pharmacy lift Licel T20 trophy

Mayur Kalate Pharmacy lifted the trophy of the Licel T20 Inter Pharma Cup 2010,after beating Venky’s by six wickets in the final. Venky’’ won the toss and elected to bat,but could only manage 102 in 17 overs before losing all their wickets. For Mayur Kalate,Nitin Kate and Tushar Pise picked up three wickets each and ran through the opposition. Abhijeet yeole chipped in with a couple of crucial wickets.

Mayur Kalate Pharmacy managed to score at a steady rate while keeping wickets in hand,to finish at 103/4 and wrap up the victory. Abhijeet Yeole of Mayur Kalate Pharmacy was adjudged man of the match for his all-round performance: he scored 21 off 24 balls and taking two wickets.

Venky’s could take solace from the fact that one of their players,Vivek Deshmukh,won the man-of-the-series award. Amit Kadam of Mayur Kalate Pharmacy was the best bowler of the tournament,while Rushabh Rathod of Sujanil was adjudged best batsman,said a press note.
