Indigo to launch direct flights from Pune to Dubai from Nov 22

With this addition, the airline will operate 383 flights weekly from Pune, covering over 25 domestic and two international destinations.

IndiGo has announced a revised schedule for the launch of its direct daily flights between Pune and Dubai from November 22 onwards, which was initially planned for October 27, making it the airlines second international flight from Pune.

According to IndiGo, this new route aims to strengthen IndiGo’s growing international network from Pune, offering better connectivity to the UAE, one of the key destinations for Indian travellers. With this addition, the airline will operate 383 flights weekly from Pune, covering over 25 domestic and two international destinations.

Vinay Malhotra, head of global sales, IndiGo, said they are pleased to announce daily non-stop direct flights between Pune and Dubai, the thriving commercial hub known for its luxury shopping and ultramodern architecture.

“With the introduction of these flights, IndiGo will now operate over 100 weekly direct flights to Dubai from 13 cities in India, and now proudly offers a wide choice of more than 225 weekly flights to the UAE from 18 cities in India,” he said.

As one of India’s major IT and automobile hubs, Pune is expected to benefit significantly from this enhanced connectivity. The direct flight will foster business collaboration, trade opportunities, and tourism between Pune and Dubai, contributing to the economic growth of both regions.

The flight from Dubai will depart daily at 17:40 and arrive in Pune at 22:10. The return flight from Pune will take off at 00:15 and land in Dubai at 02:15 the following day. Customers can book tickets through the airline’s official website or mobile app to plan their travel accordingly.

Currently, there are only two international flights operating from Pune airport- one is Vistara’s Pune-Singapore and the other one is Pune-Dubai, operated by Spice Jet.
