Gold chain stolen from jewellery shop

An unidentified person who had come to a jewellery shop on Sinhagad Road on the pretext of selecting an ornament allegedly decamped with a gold chain worth Rs 70,000 on Wednesday.

An unidentified person who had come to a jewellery shop on Sinhagad Road on the pretext of selecting an ornament allegedly decamped with a gold chain worth Rs 70,000 on Wednesday. Babulal Pannalal Parmar of Vadgaon Budruk,who owns the jewellery shop near Panmala,registered a complaint at Dattawadi police station. Assistant inspector P N Wakchaure is investigating the case.

Lok Janshakti Party (Ram Vilas) announced its first list of 14 candidates for the Bihar assembly polls, with its state unit chief Raju Tiwary and leader Hulas Pandey among the nominees. As per the seat-sharing arrangement, LJP (RV) will contest 29 seats, while BJP and JD(U) will contest 101 seats each. The remaining 15 candidates will be announced soon.
