The first bootcamp for IT produt entrepreneurs in the country will be held in the city on December 4 and 5. An inititative of the Indian Software Products Industry Roundtable (iSPIRT), the bootcamp will see around 200 startup companies exchange views and being mentored by professionals. Dilip Ittyera,part time fellow of iSPIRIT,said the companies are highly curated and have been selected through a rigorous process. We had invited companies to participate in a process and after careful scrutiny,they were invited to participate, he said. Ittyera said Pune has more than 400 startups. The bootcamp would focus on peer mentoring,policy initiatives,software adoption and capability building. Ittyera said the key challenges before startups is the lack of peer learning,lack of early adopters and taxation for product companies. We hope this bootcamp will help startups take their venture forward, he said.
