The third edition of the Corporate Twenty20 Cricket Championship will begin from April 3. The competition will feature a total of 16 companies from Pune.
There will be four pools,with each comprising four teams. Each team will play three league matches in the first round and two teams from each pool will qualify for the quarter-finals.
According to a press release issued here on Thursday,the companies participating this year include the 2009 champions Wilo Mather & Platt,Incat Tata Technologies [Runners-Up 2009,SoftHard Automation,AXA Business Services,HDFC Bank,TCS Patni Computers,IDEA Cellular,IBM,MindCrest,MindTree,Yes Bank,Tikona Digital Network,Bajaj Allianz,Persistent Systems and Sungard.
The matches will be played on a league/knock out basis at the Shinde High School Ground in Aryeneshwar,and the Katariya High School Ground in Mukund Nagar.
The winning team will receive a cash prize of Rs 25.000.
Other awards will include best batsman of the Tournament,best bowler of the Tournament,best wicket Keeper of the Tournament,best all-rounde of the Tournament.
The player of the tournament will a cash prize of Rs 5,000,said the note. The runners-up will get a trophy along with a cash prize of Rs 10,000.
