NCP (S-P) national president Sharad Pawar on Sunday said the intention behind BJP raising the slogan of ”Ab Ki Bar, 400 Paar” is to change the Constitution as drafted by Dr Babasaheb Ambedkar.

Addressing an election rally at Saswad for daughter Supriya Sule, Pawar said,”I am worried at the way Narendra Modi and his colleagues are running the country.

Elections to Zilla Parishads, Nagar Panchayats and civic bodies are not being held. In future, they might not even hold Lok Sabha and Assembly elections. The BJP is aiming at ‘400 paar’ with the intention to change the Constitution,” he said.

Stating that Modi was taking the nation towards dictatorship, Pawar said, “The Modi Government has put the chief ministers of Delhi and Jharkhand behind bars. It looks like they are going to kill democracy and take the nation towards dictatorship. We should show such people their place. It is our duty to show the right path to the nation,” he said.
