The matter will be discussed with the Ganesh mandals and police officials so that the day can be utilised by devotees to see more idols.

BJP MLA Madhuri Misal on Thursday had demanded that loudspeakers be allowed to be used during the entire Ganesh festival.

With concessions not being used for Shiv Jayanti,Eid-E-Milad,Maharashtra Day and Dr Ambedkar Jayanti she said that the government should use it during Ganesh festival.

With just a week remaining, the collector said that he will declare the day after checking all the rules and regulations which can enable the devout to have atleast two days in a row to see the dekhava.
