To protest demolition,Campa Cola residents continue hunger strike

Younger residents,aged 12 and 16,have also joined the strike.

Three days into their hunger strike,four Campa Cola compound residents continued their protest against demolition of their homes on Wednesday. On November 11,the BMC is set to demolish 35 illegal floors in the compound.

The four residents,including two senior citizens,went on hunger strike Monday. Kapoorchand Jain (67),who works as an accountant,said,“I have not gone to work in the past one week. We will continue our strike.” Younger residents,aged 12 and 16,have also joined the strike.
