Sule: Shinde Sena MPs may contest on BJP tickets in LS polls

The Rajya Sabha MP had said if the BJP gives tickets to lawmakers of the Ajit Pawar camp and Shinde's Shiv Sena, then they will contest on its symbol. Nationalist Congress Party (Sharad Pawar faction) MP Supriya Sule Friday claimed that several MPs from the Shiv Sena led by Chief Minister Eknath Shinde may contest on BJP ticket in the next year’s Lok Sabha elections.
Sule claimed that some of the Shinde-led Sena MPs whom she had met in Delhi told her this. “Some of the Shinde-led Sena MPs met me in Delhi and told me that may be some of them might contest polls on BJP’s poll symbol lotus,” Sule said.
Shiv Sena (UBT) leader Sanjay Raut too on Thursday had claimed that majority of MLAs and MPs of the Ajit Pawar faction of the NCP and almost all lawmakers of Shinde-led Shiv Sena will join the BJP soon.
The Rajya Sabha MP had said if the BJP gives tickets to lawmakers of the Ajit Pawar camp and Shinde’s Shiv Sena, then they will contest on its symbol.
“According to credible information that I have, a majority of MLAs and MPs of the Ajit Pawar faction (of the NCP) and almost all MLAs and MPs of the Shinde faction will join the BJP in the future,” Raut said.
