An event called ‘Mahakumbh Prayagyoj’ was organised in Nagpur for people who could not participate in the ongoing Maha Kumbh Mela in Prayagraj, wherein holy water from the Triveni Sangam was brought in for devotees to offer prayers. Speaking during the occasion, Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis said, “For those who could not visit Prayagraj, water from the sacred Sangam has been brought to Nagpur via Ramtek. This initiative was taken to allow devotees to experience the spiritual essence of the Kumbh Mela.” The event was held at the Reshimbagh grounds in Nagpur, which is also the home town of Fadnavis. “The grand Kumbh Mela in Prayagraj showcases the essence of Sanatan culture. For thousands of years, this sacred gathering has reflected human civilization and culture. Devotees from different castes, languages, and sects come together at the Kumbh Mela, making it a true symbol of social unity,” the CM said. The event was attended by Justice (Retd) Sunil Shukre, Rajesh Loya, Amey Hete, and other dignitaries from The Satsang Foundation, Nagpur Chapter.
