Sai Resort case: Parab aide in judicial custody till March 29

Kadam was arrested on Friday in connection with the Dapoli's Sai Resort case lodged by the Enforcement Directorate (ED). Kadam was earlier sent to ED custody till March 15 by a holiday court.

Sadanand Kadam, the alleged associate of Shiv Sena (UBT) leader Anil Parab, was sent to judicial custody by a court till March 29 on Wednesday.

Kadam was arrested on Friday in connection with the Dapoli’s Sai Resort case lodged by the Enforcement Directorate (ED). Kadam was earlier sent to ED custody till March 15 by a holiday court.

On Wednesday, the central agency did not seek his further custody, following which he was sent to Arthur Road jail in Mumbai.

The ED had arrested Kadam claiming that he was the main beneficiary in the case and had liased with various government officials to obtain permission for the resort, which the agency claimed was illegal.

A deputy collector-ranked officer, Jayram Deshpande, was arrested in the case on Tuesday and is currently in ED custody till March 18.
