A 19-year-old youth from Lower Parel in Mumbai has been booked for abetment to suicide after a teenage girl allegedly ended her life by hanging herself in her house. The police said that the youth, named as an accused in the FIR, was in a relationship with the girl. But as she was avoiding him, the 19-year-old allegedly manhandled her and also threatened to make her personal photos viral on social media. “The incident took place between 9.45 pm on Sunday and 6.55 am on Monday,” an officer said.
