Mumbai Metro reports glitch on Line 2A and 7

On Tuesday morning, a technical issue in a metro train disrupted services on the elevated Mumbai Metro Line 2A and 7 (Andheri West-Dahisar-Gundavali, Andheri East).

The Mumbai Metropolitan Region Development Authority (MMMOCL), responsible for the operation and maintenance of these metro lines, reported the glitch between Eksar and Mandapeshwar stations around 8:30 am. While the issue was promptly addressed, services experienced a brief delay.

Both Metro Line 2A and 7 collectively have 253 trains in operation.

The service commences at 5:55 am on the Andheri West-Gundavali line, with the last train operating at 11:33 pm on the Dahisar East-Dahanukarwadi route.
