Sex racket: Cops raid spa in Mumbai’s Borivali, 5 women rescued
Officers have registered a case on charges of immoral trafficking and human trafficking against Gautam Parkar, Ibrahim Shaikh and a cashier. The women were sent to a rescue home in Poisor.

Mumbai police raided a spa centre in Borivali Thursday and rescued five women who were allegedly forced into prostitution. The police have registered a case against the owner of the spa and are trying to track him down.
Officers have registered a case on charges of immoral trafficking and human trafficking against Gautam Parkar, Ibrahim Shaikh and a cashier. The women were sent to a rescue home in Poisor.
Officials at MHB police station had received reliable information that a sex racket was operating in the guise of a massage and spa parlour at Zen Luxury Spa in IC Colony, Borivali (West).
The police sent a bogus customer to the spa centre and after due verification of the information, they raided the spa on Thursday evening and rescued the women. Investigators also found some mobile phones, cash and condom packets at the place, an officer said.
