Mumbai Air Show: Traffic curbs in place around Marine Drive, check which roads to avoid
Several roads in South Mumbai will be closed this weekend due to the IAF Air Show being held in the city. The traffic regulations will apply from 9 am to 5 pm.

(PTI Photo)To facilitate the smooth flow of traffic and ensure pedestrian safety during the Mumbai Air Show, which is being organised by the Indian Air Force at Marine Drive on Saturday and Sunday between 12 and 1 pm, the traffic police have issued a notification on road closures and alternative routes.
The traffic regulations will be in place from 9 am to 5 pm on Saturday and Sunday.
“All types of vehicles except emergency service vehicles (ambulance, police vehicles, fire brigade vehicles, VIPs and other services providers) are prohibited…,” read the notification.
Closed roads and alternative routes
N S Road (north-bound)
N S Road (north-bound) will remain closed for vehicular traffic, except emergency vehicles from N.C.P.A and Girgaum Chowpatty.
Alternative routes: Ramnath Poddar Chowk (Godrej Junction) – Right turn by Maharshi Karve Road-Ahilyabai Holkar Chowk (Churchgate Junction) – Marine Lines – Charni Road – Pandit Paluskar Chowk (Opera House).
Dr Babasaheb Ambedkar Junction left turn via Karmaveer Bhaurao Patil-CTO Junction.
N S Road (south-bound)
Girgaum Chowapatty to NCPA/Hutatma Rajguru Chowk (Mantralaya Junction) will be closed.

Alternative routes: Kemps Corner Bridge, take left turn and proceed. At Nana chowk
From RTI Junction, take a left turn to N S Patkar Marg-Pandit Paluskar Chowk-(Opera House) left turn -SVP Road also take a right turn at Pandit Paluskar Chowk-(Opera House) and proceed to destination via Maharshi Karve Road
Veer Nariman Road (north-bound)
North-bound Ahilyabai Holkar Chowk (Churchgate Junction) to Kilachand Chowk (Sunder Mahal Junction) will remain closed.
Alternative route: Maharshi Karve Road-Ahilyabai Holkar Chowk (Churchgate Junction)-Marine Lines-Charni Road- Pandit Paluskar Chowk (Opera House Junction).
Dinshaw Vacha Road

Dinshaw Vacha Road-north bound to Ratanlal Babuna Chowk (Marine Plaza Junction) will be closed.
Alternative route: Maharshi Karve Road-Ahilyabai Holkar Chowk (Churchgate Junction)-Marine Lines-Charni Road-Pandit Paluskar Chowk (Opera House Junction).
Madam Cama Road
North-bound closed for vehicles from Hutatma Rajguru Chowk (Mantralaya Junction) to Venutai Chavan Chowk (Air India Junction)
Alternative route: Maharshi Karve road-Ramnath Poddar Chowk (Godrej Junction-Ahilyabai Holkar Chowk (Churchgate Junction)-Marine Lines-Charni Road-Pandit Paluskar Chowk (Opera House Junction).
Barrister Rajni Patel Marg

Free Press Journal Junction to N S Road will be closed.
Vinay K Shah Marg
North-bound from Jamnalal Bajaj Marg to Murali Deora Chowk-N S Road-Vinay K Shah Marg leading to the road will be closed.
Parking will be prohibited from 7 am to 3 pm on Saturday and Sunday on the following roads:
N S Road
Madam Cama Road
Dinshaw Vacha Road
Maharshi Karve Road
Jamnalal Bajaj Marg
Barrister Rajni Patel Marg
Ramnath Goenka Marg
Veer Nariman Road
Vinay K Shah Road
