MU launches online process to get answer sheet copies, expedite reevaluations
Mumbai University announced the new system, which has now been made available from the ongoing winter session exams. The online method was introduced due to the delay caused through the manual process of getting answer sheets and reevaluations.

In the last two exam sessions, Mumbai University received 17,000 applications seeking photocopies of answer sheets and close to 90,000 applications for reevaluation.
Instead of the usual practice of manually getting a photocopy of answer sheets, students of Mumbai University can now get a scanned copy online.
Mumbai University announced the new system, which has now been made available from the ongoing winter session exams. The online method was introduced due to the delay caused through the manual process of getting answer sheets and reevaluations.
As per information shared by the varsity administration, as soon as a result is declared, students will be given a link to the university website to apply for reevaluation and receive copies of their answer sheets. This option will be made available to students within a day. In the event that a student does apply for reevaluation, the scanned copy of the answer sheet will be made available to the concerned professor as well. “Students have complained in the past how their reevaluation result was not declared until the re-exam date,” said a university official.
Until now, students were able to apply online, but getting their hands on copies of their answer sheets and then getting them reevaluated was only possible manually.
Dr. Prasad Karande, director of Board of Examinations and Evaluations, Mumbai University, said, “This new system will ensure faster reevaluation as well as convenient access to scanned copies of answer-sheets.”
