MMRC launches exclusive discounted monthly passes on MetroConnect3 App

MMRC becomes the first metro in India to offer fully app-based monthly passes, introducing 10–15% discounts on digital trip passes for Metro Line 3 commuters.

The initiative makes daily travel cheaper and fully digital with 10–15% savings on trip-based passes.

In a major step towards enhancing commuter convenience and promoting seamless digital mobility, the Mumbai Metro Rail Corporation (MMRC) on Friday announced the launch of exclusive discounted monthly passes on its MetroConnect3 mobile application. With this initiative, MMRC becomes the first metro in the country to introduce a pass facility entirely through a mobile app.

Starting today, commuters on Metro Line 3 can avail special discounts on trip-based passes: 15% discount on 60-trip passes and 10% discount on 45-trip passes.

These passes are designed to make daily travel more affordable while encouraging hassle-free, contactless digital ticketing. With just a few taps on the MetroConnect3 app, commuters can purchase, store, and use their passes directly from their mobile phones eliminating the need for physical tickets.

Currently the facility is available only on MetroConnect3 app. In future passes will also be available through NCMC card.

The MetroConnect3 App is available for download on both Android and iOS platforms.

Earlier, the MMRC had announced 25% discounted trip passes for differently abled passengers on the MetroConnect-3 app.
