Manoj Jarange Patil: Bhujbal trying to create rift between Marathas and OBCs
“He is resorting to foment trouble between two communities as he has realised that Marathas will get reservation in OBC category,” Patil said at a rally at Wai in Satara district.

Maratha quota activist Manoj Jarange Patil Saturday reiterated that Cabiney Minister Chhagan Bhujbal was trying to create a rift between Maratha and OBC communites.
“He is resorting to foment trouble between two communities as he has realised that Marathas will get reservation in OBC category,” Patil said at a rally at Wai in Satara district.
Stating that Bhujbal had gone to jail in Maharashtra Sadan scam, Patil said, “Therefore, I don’t want to talk about him much and don’t want to give him much importance. Those who occupy constitutional post should not trample upon it… I respect Bhujbal as an individual but I don’t think I should comment on his remarks. He doesn’t deserve that. He is trying to create hurdles for us, we should not value him,” the activist said.
At the same time, Jarange Patil said those Marathas who are ashamed of being Kunbi, should sell off their farm and go to the moon.
“Some people from Maratha commuity do not want Kunbi caste certificates. If you want reservation in OBC category, then why don’t want Kunbi caste certificate. Those who feel ashamed of Kunbi caste ceertificate, should sell off their agriculture land and go to the moon,” he said.
Jarange Patil said some politicians are trying to incite violence between OBC and Maratha communties. ”The government has started the process of giving us Kunbi caste certificates which will help us get reservation. We should have some patience and remain united, firm and on alert. The government understands the language of the Marathas, it has therefore decided provide us reservation,” he said.
