The body of a man was found stuffed in a suitcase in Malad Sunday. Bangur Nagar police said residents of the area behind the Ryan International School in Malad called the police control room around 10 am,saying that an unclaimed suitcase was lying near a nullah. A police team found that it contained the body of a man in his 30s. The deceased has injuries on the head and neck made by a sharp object. A complaint of murder has been registered. There was no identification on his person, said inspector Dhananjay Ligade. An officer added that the deceaseds clothes,which include a skull cap,suggested that he was a Muslim and inquiries were on in the nearby Malwani area,which has a sizeable Muslim population.
