Mumbai: Man booked for ‘threatening’ Sena members on Twitter

Shiv Sena corporator Sheetal Mhatre filed a complaint against a Twitter user for allegedly threatening her and party spokesperson Priyanka Chaturvedi in two posts on Tuesday and Wednesday.

The user, Ashish Kr Dwivedi (@ASHISHKRDW2) had twice allegedly tweeted death threats to Mhatre and Chaturvedi and tagged them both in his tweets. On Wednesday, Mhatre registered a complaint at the MHB Colony police station in Borivali. Dwivedi has been booked for criminal intimidation under the Indian Penal Code.
