Khadse for Governor?

Senior NCP (Sharadchandra Pawar) leader and MLC, Eknath Khadse, who is all set to join BJP, may land in the role of governor of a state. Insiders in BJP said, “Khadse is keen to return to BJP. The Centre has given the nod. He is likely to be considered for the Governor’s role in any state.” Khadse will have to give up his MLC role if he resigns from NCP (SP). Khadse’s daughter-in-law Raksha Khadse is contesting from Raver. BJP believes Khadse’s return will help the party in the Lok Sabha polls in North Maharashtra.

Fadnavis in Kerala

Deputy CM Devendra Fadnavis took a break from Maharashtra politics on Sunday. The BJP leader visited Kerala’s famous Padmanabhaswami temple wearing the traditional ‘mundu’ (dhoti). Later, he interacted with BJP leaders and workers at the party office in Thiruvananthapuram. According to Maharashtra BJP, “Apart from home state Maharashtra, Fadnavis has received invitations to address party workers in other states. Last week, he was in Karnataka.”
