The first attempt for the PCM (Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics) group will be held from April 11 to 19, while the PCB (Physics, Chemistry, Biology) group exam will be conducted from April 21 to 26. Tentative dates for the second attempt have been set for May 14 to 17 (PCM) and May 10–11 (PCB).
According to the CET Cell, announcing the schedule early will allow students sufficient time to prepare for the exams they intend to take. “While preparing this schedule, the CET Cell clarified that national-level exam dates such as JEE and NEET were taken into consideration,” stated the note released by the Cell.
In 2025–26, 14.06 lakh students registered for 17 CETs, of whom 12.46 lakh appeared. Nearly 6.5 lakh candidates took only the PCM and PCB CETs, with the PCM exam alone drawing over 4 lakh students. MBA and three-year Law CETs also saw significant participation.
