Three more suspected swine flu patients,including an infant,died at the Government Medical College and Hospital (GMCH) here in the past 24 hours. One-year-old Rahul Jadhav of Mehtana,Jalna and Nilima Atre,24,of Jadhavwadi here died on Saturday morning while Kesarbhai Devali,55,of Hingoli died on Friday night. Their swab samples have been sent for tests at the National Institute of Virology (NIV),Pune. It will not be proper to term them swine flu cases now. We will confirm once we get reports from NIV,probably in three-four days, GMCH swine flu isolation ward chief and medicine department head Dr Mangala Borakar said. The three deceased were on ventilator support ever since they were admitted to the hospital after being diagnosed with acute respiratory distress syndrome. ENS
