A graphic designer was arrested by the Bangur Nagar police on Thursday for stealing the credit card of a purchase manager working in his company and making purchases for his girl friend. The accused Vikram Dharmadhikari,27,a resident of Pune who was working here bought beauty products and cell phones for himself and his girl friend,but landed behind bars after he used the stolen card to get fuel for his motorbike . Dharmadhikari is a graphic designer in a Malad based company and gets a monthly salary of Rs 30000. A few days back,a purchase manager in his company realised that her credit card was missing and informed the Bangur Nagar police. According to Maruti Telang,senior inspector Bangur Nagar police station,Dharmadhikari had stolen the credit card and used it at Indraprastha shopping centre in Borivali to buy cell phones and other products like deodorants and perfumes. Dharmadhikari had then got his bike filled with petrol from Chamunda gas station in Borivali using the card. After checking the bank statement,we went to the gas station and came to know the registration number of Dharmadhikaris motor cycle. We have arrested both Dharmadhikari and Shelar for charges of theft and have got their custody till October 30, said Telang.
