The Government is inquiring into fee hikes by various schools in Mumbai for the upcoming academic year. School Education Minister Rajendra Darda informed the legislative council in a written reply that schools like DAV Public School,KDM School and Billabong High have increased their fees by 7.5 to 25 per cent through a parent meeting approval. Replying to another question,Darda said the Bill regarding Fee regulation was pending approval of the President.
