Officers from the Oshiwara police station received information at 2 am on Sunday that there there was a rave party on the premises of the Spanish Villa on SV Road. The police officers raided the place, where they found more than 350 people swaying to loud music.
The police team that raided the place said the organiser had sent an invite to the community through an SMS which mentioned that for a Rs 450 entry fee, there would be unlimited alcohol and music till 4.30 am.
When we entered the premises we saw drunk men dancing without clothes and also engaging in indecent acts, said a police officer from Oshiwara police station. We rounded up about 150 guests, who were tested positive of consuming alcohol. Bobby said he received an SMS about the party and got an invite from the organiser. I was called by the organiser as a paid celebrity guest. I reached the party half hour before the police arrived and did not know till then that the organiser had not got permission for the party, said the actor, who was let off as he was not drunk.
The other guests said they were aware there could be a police raid and they could be fined,so they were carrying the fine amount.
